My name is Della, I’m 22 years old and currently living in Jakarta, Indonesia. I’m very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and to be part of a warm and loving family abroad. For me, being an au pair is not only about helping with childcare, but also about building a meaningful connection, becoming a big sister figure, and creating a safe and happy environment for your children.

I come from a background in retail and customer service, where I have worked for over two years as a Sales Associate in fashion and beauty. This experience has shaped me into someone who is patient, attentive, responsible, and very detail-oriented. Working in sales taught me how to communicate clearly, handle different personalities calmly, solve problems quickly, and stay organized even in busy situations. I believe these skills are very transferable to childcare, especially when it comes to understanding children’s emotions, listening actively, and responding with kindness and patience.

I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree through an online program, which has trained me to be disciplined and manage my time well. Being a working student has helped me become independent, reliable, and committed to my responsibilities.

Although my professional background is in retail, I genuinely enjoy being around children. I have 2 girl cousins (with 7 and 10 years age gap) that I helped took care of since they were babies. I love engaging in creative activities like drawing, light baking, simple crafts, and outdoor walks. I would be happy to help your children with homework, prepare simple meals, assist with their daily routines, and support them in developing good habits in a positive way.

I understand that parents are trusting someone new with the most important part of their lives, their children. I take that responsibility very seriously. Safety, respect, and open communication are very important to me. I will always make sure to follow your house rules and parenting style because I believe consistency is essential for children’s development.

My sales background also means I am used to maintaining professionalism and punctuality. I am organized, clean, and comfortable helping with light household tasks related to the children, such as tidying their rooms, organizing toys, preparing school bags, or helping with laundry.

In addition, I am fluent in English (C2 Proficient level), so I can comfortably communicate with you and help your children practice English if desired. I would also be happy to share Indonesian culture, language, and traditions with your family, while also learning about your culture and daily life.
