Hello, I am Mawar from Indonesia. I consider myself as dedicated and hardworking person. I am very independent since I've been living alone for 11 years (2011-present) due to study and work, so I am quite good at doing household work as well.
I love children and can get along with them easily. I have experience with babies and kids for more than 10 years (I will tell you the story in the next section).
I am 29 years old now, so I hope to find host family as soon as possible.

I live in a village where having a nanny or a babysitter is not a common thing.
When I was 7 years old, my 1st younger sister was born. So starting at 8 or 9 years old, I had to help my mom to take care of my sister everyday after school until night.
When I was 11 years old, my second mom (my aunt) gave birth to her first son. My mom told me that I had to help her and her baby since my aunt also took care of me when I was baby. So almost everyday after school, I came to my aunt house to help her with the baby.
When I was in secondary school (I was 15 y.o), my youngest sister was born. And again, I had to babysit my youngest sister every day after school and holiday since my mom had to go to the farm.
In 2011, I moved to city to continue my study to higher institution. In 2016, I graduated with a mathematics education degree. Then, I worked as a teacher in a full-day elementary school.
Since 2019, I worked in informal education institution. I taught math in all level, from preschool to higher school.
So, since I was child until I have a work, I always deal with children.

My motivation to be au pair is
I love to explore new things and to meet new people, so we can learn from each other. From you I can learn new culture, new language, etc.
I just found this au pair program in my 29 years old. I am eager to join this program so one day I can share my experience to my students and my future children.
