My name is Shimpal, and I am from India. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies. I come from a disciplined and caring family background, as my father serves in the Indian Army. Growing up in such an environment has taught me responsibility, adaptability, and respect for others.
I want to become an Au Pair because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and being part of a family environment. I see the Au Pair program as a beautiful cultural exchange where I can support a family, take care of children with love and patience, and at the same time learn about a new culture and lifestyle. I believe living with a host family is the best way to grow personally and emotionally while contributing positively to others’ lives.
You should consider hosting me because I am a calm, trustworthy, and caring person. I understand how important children’s safety, routine, and emotional well-being are. I am patient, a good listener, and I always try to create a positive and supportive atmosphere around me. I respect family rules, value open communication, and am willing to adapt to your family’s needs.
I qualify for the Au Pair position because I am responsible, organized, and experienced in helping with daily household routines. I can assist with childcare, light household work, and meal preparation. I am also physically active, emotionally mature, and able to handle responsibilities independently. Additionally, I speak Hindi and English, and I am continuously improving my communication skills.
I would like to share my experience as an Au Pair and explain why I am eager to continue this journey abroad.
I have worked as an Au Pair in Dubai with an Indian family, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in childcare and household responsibilities. During my time with them, I took care of children by helping with their daily routine, meals, playtime, and basic care. I also assisted with light household tasks such as organizing, cleaning children’s areas, and supporting the family whenever needed. Living with the family helped me understand the importance of patience, responsibility, and clear communication in a family environment.
This experience made me more confident, independent, and adaptable. Being in Dubai, a multicultural city, also helped me learn how to respect different lifestyles and adjust quickly to new surroundings. I learned how to manage my time well and remain calm and caring, even in busy or stressful situations.
