First and foremost, thank you for your time visiting my profile.
I am the youngest of 5 siblings. I have a huge age gap with them (I am a menopause baby), my eldest sister is 39 years old, eldest brother - 37, second sister - 35 (they already have their own family) my two brothers are ages 31 and 29 years old respectively. Growing up with them is kinda hard because of the age gap so I’ve always wanted to have a younger sibling to play with, take care of and share my secret and hobbies as what siblings commonly does. At the age of 16, I’ve learned to be independent as I lived in the city for four years to finish my degree in Biology, which helps me to learn household chores like tidying, laundry and ironing my clothes even with groceries. I also discovered that time my talents in cooking as well as baking like my late father. So you won’t have a problem with me doing the household chores. I used to took care of my 4 nephews and 4 nieces ages 11 months-14 years old when my siblings aren’t home because of work and even babysit my neighbor’s kids when they have important errands to go. I can also be a big sister to your children since I am fond of kids. As of now, I am living with my mother who got stroke and half paralyzed since 2016, part of my daily routine is to cook, tidying and help her taking a bath.
Outdoor activities always gives me an excitement. Traveling is one of the thing that I’d love to do. I love hiking and island hopping, In fact I’ve hiked 4 mountains for the last three years and I’ve been to several islands here in the Philippines.
I can also add reading books in my hobby list, it’s the usual thing that I do in my free time. And Oh! I am into Arts, I mean I really love arts. Drawing, calligraphy, painting and even doing crafts are the things that I really enjoy to do. I am a pet-lover, I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and an aquarium fish.
First time I’ve heard about the Au Pair Program was from my sister who used to be an Au Pair way back 2011 in Scandinavian countries which I find very interesting and an opportunity since to travel and to explore Europe is one of my biggest dream because the European cultures always fascinates me that I want to experience and immersed myself in different European cultures and learn different languages. I also really think that it is more than an experience, to be an Au Pair is kinda journey for me, to live in different country, different culture and different lifestyle with a family that will be forever part of my life as memories.
To create a special bond, great memories (especially with the kids) and learning from your family and from me as well, will be my ultimate goal as an aspiring Au Pair.
