Good Day to my Future Host Family!
My name is Lara Jolly, 26 years old, unmarried and no child currently living and working here in Hong Kong as Domestic Helper originally I am from the Philippines.
I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared, and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister to your children comes with responsibilities for them, and it will not always be just play and fun. I come from a family of four children and l value family, it is an important part of my life. I would like to describe myself as a caring, fun, reliable, patient and hardworking person.
I have a varied background in providing individual care to people of all ages and conditions, coupled with my working experience as a Domestic Helper and my Training Certificate. I believe I could be a great fit.
My background includes ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children. I excelled in a role providing overarching child care support in parents' absence and acquired key skills in organizing recreational activities, preparing and serving snacks, cleaning toys, setting up special projects, and facilitating children’s social development. I have also delivered child care support to a fun-loving nature to earn children’s and parents trust and build long-standing relationships.
A few highlights of my experience include:
-Teaching children about various health and personal habits, including eating, resting, and toilet training.
-Reading to children and leading them in diverse activities such as arts and crafts, songs, and outdoor play.
-Excelling at balancing multiple tasks while demonstrating superior organization, leadership, and communication skills.
My previous child care skills and experience, along with my positive attitude and friendly personality, position me to excel in this.
Living with me is really easy, as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have followed your house rules. If something does not work quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
I am currently working as Domestic Helper here in Hong Kong since May 2023 so I am used to not seeing either my mom or dad. I do not think I will become particularly homesick.
