My name is Christabel, and I’m from Ghana. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and will graduate in 2028. After that, I’ll complete my one-year national service, which means I’ll be available to join your family as an au pair in 2029. I'm really looking forward to this experience, and I’m so happy you're taking the time to read my profile!
I’ve always loved children, and I’ve been actively involved in caring for them for most of my life. As the eldest sibling in my family, I started caring for my younger brothers and sister when they were babies and they’re now 3(female), 5(male), and 13(female) years old! This daily experience has taught me how to meet kids at their level, help them feel safe, and make everyday routines fun and educational.
Through my nursing program, I’ve also had the opportunity to complete clinical rotations in the pediatrics department, where I worked hands-on with both toddlers and newborns. It’s been an incredible experience that’s deepened my knowledge of children’s health, safety, and emotional needs and strengthened my dream of working with children long-term, especially as an educator or pediatric nurse.
I enjoy cooking, helping with household tasks, and creating fun, engaging moments through play, learning, storytelling, or art. I’m also calm, patient, and able to handle multiple responsibilities with care and attention and I’m always ready to listen, support, and adapt to what each child or family needs.
