Hello! My name is Joey and I want to do an Au Pair in Japan after I finish school in August 2027. By that time I will be 19 years old.

My language skills are in German (fluent), English (B2), Thai (A2) and French (A1). I am also currently learning basic communication skills in Japanese.

Furthermore, I completed a certified babysitting program, which includes first aid classes. Also I have some experience with children who need extra care because of my short term internship in a Child and Youth Psychiatry. However, it is important to mention that I do not have long experiences with children. I am open to change this and learn. I do have a lot of experience with pets though, since my dog was very troublesome ;)

I personally seek this Au Pair in order to widen my horizon and deepen my understanding in different cultures. Japan has always been interesting for me, partly because I did an short exchange program there.

Additionally, I played piano for 10+ years, so I am also able to teach piano lessons. Since I joined the Ancient Greek Club in school, I am able to teach basics in it. (mainly reading)
Regarding my drivers license: I‘ll be finished soon. However, since driving regulations in Germany differ from those in Japan, I’ll need some time to adjust.
