My name is Matea, I am 21 years old and live in Germany. I am very excited about the opportunity to soon be able to help out as an au pair in a loving family while getting to know a new culture at the same time.
I want to become an au pair because I really enjoy spending time with children, and I find joy in everyday family life. At the same time, I am drawn to the cultural exchange and the chance to improve my language skills. I see the au pair year as a wonderful opportunity to take on responsibility, gain new perspectives, and grow personally.
I already have experience with children from my own family: I regularly looked after my little brother and younger cousins. In addition, I worked as a babysitter on the side, through which I learned how important patience, empathy, and clear communication are when dealing with children. I really enjoy playing with them, being creative, and supporting them in their daily lives.
I am an open, friendly, and reliable person. It’s important to me that children feel safe and comfortable, and I strive to take their needs seriously and build a strong foundation of trust. I am also willing to help with household tasks and to support wherever needed.
