Dear Family,

Hello! My name is Finnja and I am 18 years old from Germany. My native language is German, and I also speak fluent English. I enjoy communicating with people from different backgrounds and I am always interested in improving my language skills and learning new things. I am currently training to become a nursery nurse, which has given me valuable experience working with children of different ages. I really enjoy spending time with children in different aspects, such as supporting their development, and creating fun and engaging activities for them.

I think I'd be a great fit for any family looking for someone positive, reliable and creative, who enjoys the work with children and brings energy daily.

In my free time, I enjoy dancing, sports and creative activities.I am a flexible and adaptable person who is happy to adjust to my host family's routine and childcare needs.

During my nursery nurse training, I planned and carried out a creative activity with children aged 2-5, where we made colorful window pictures using transparent paper and special foil. The children enjoyed choosing their own colors and being creative independently while I supported them throughout the process. They were excited to see how the sunlight shone through their finished artwork, and it was wonderful to see how proud they were of what they had created.

Through my nursery nurse training, I have learned about child development, age-appropriate activities, health and safety, and how to support children. My training has also included topics such as allergies and skin conditions, helping me understand the importance of following individual care requirements and creating a safe environment for children. Through my training, I have completed more than 500 hours of internship experience with children aged 1-6. During this time, I have supported daily routines, helped with educational and creative activities, and gained valulable experiene working with children of different ages. This experience has strengthened my communication, responsibility, and childcare skills and has confirmed my passion for working with children.

I would like to become an au pair because I am excited about the opportunity to become part of a family in another country while helping care for children. I enjoy supporting their creativity, independence and development and it makes me happy to see them laugh, learn and grow. At the same time, I look forward to experiencing everyday life in a new country, meeting new people, and growing as a person through this unique experience.
