Hello and nice to meet you, this is Laura, an eighteen year old from Berlin, Germany.
This summer I graduated from school with the highest german degree, the Abitir. Currently I am a university student in Berlin studying korean studies, because I want to learn the language and about the culture. I think becoming an AuPair would be a perfect way to get there, especially because I've always loved spending time with children. Although I don't have paid experience, I am very used to dealing with children because of my two little sisters and lots of younger cousins whom I watched after multiple times. In 2024 I also did an internship at a school with a focus for intellectual developement. There I looked after children aged 8 to 15 for three weeks. Additionally I did tutoring lessons for younger kids at my school for about 3 or 4 years.
If I would become an AuPair in your family, I would love to get to know your daily life and become a part of it. I would hope to also become like an older sibling to your children, I would read and sing with them as well as craft something from paper or according to their age also bake with them (of course only if that is okay for you). I am a very active and outgoing person and would also be very happy to spend time with the kids outside in the nature.
