Hey!

I'm Hazel :) An American in Paris and a girl ready to make some new memories. Paris has been good to me, but I'm realizing the busy city life is not for me. During my time here I have met some incredible people and some of those who have spent their time being Au Pairs and highly suggest it. So, as I steped into this next chapter, I followed my passion for community and decided to apply to au pair.

I have been watching kids for as long as I can remember. I grew up with two brothers who I often babysat when my parents were out. As I got older, it was my first job and eventually I became apart of a family with four kids who I had the pleasure of watching grow up for two years. After graduating high school, I interned at an Outdoor Educational Program where I was responsible for over 20 kids as they stayed in the mountains for a week with us. I taught classes, eased homesickness, and nurtured their natural curiosity and wonder. It is a time I look back to with fondness! Fast forward, just last year I moved to Australia for 6 months and au paired for a single mom and her two kids. Two beautiful souls who became like siblings to me. I do not take this position lightly and still am in contact with them and hope to visit again soon!
