My name is Alison Daniela, I am 20 years old and I live in Quito, Ecuador. Let me tell you about myself, I am a responsible, friendly, patient, and empathic girl. In my daily routine, I am organized, resolute, and dynamic. I enjoy having quality time with my family, friends, and my dogs too. I love them, I have two dogs, their names are Coscu and Lucy.
I am a person who wants to do many things, I like to discover new things: people, places, and cultures. I live with my mother, father, and brothers. My mother's name is Blanca, she works as a stylist, and my father's name is Fredy, he works as a driver. I have an old brother named Alexander, who is 25 years old, and a young sister named Ariana, who is 10 years old. We are a very close, sociable, and communicative family. My family is so large and I love it. My mother has three sisters and a brother, and my father has five sisters, so I have many uncles, aunts, and little cousins. I love children and I am one of the oldest in my family so I have been constantly taking care of my sister when my parents were at work and also my little cousins in summer. I have been always surrounded by children!
When I finished high school at Luciano Andrade Marín Highschool, I decided to study for a degree in marketing in Quito, the capital of my country. For me, it was one of the most important decisions in my life. In this adventure, I have had the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends but it's time to give it a break.
My family and my friends say that I am a very motherly, responsible, and loving person. I love kids, so this year I decided to fulfill my dream of being an au pair in the United States. They support my decision and they are very happy for me. I'm delighted to have the opportunity to improve my English, meet your lifestyle, your habits, and your country, which I greatly admire. And what better way than doing what I love! I love spending time with children and learning everything they can teach me every day. They learn a lot from us, but we learn more from them than we think. To me, it is wonderful to see them growing up with us and learning, little by little, being part of their childhood.
I have experience caring for children from three months to ten years, girls and boys too. In 2019 I took care of 25 children, who were 6 to 8 years old because I work in a summer camp that focuses on helping homeless children. The experience was great. I used to feed them, play, and do origami together. We used to make many crafts with recycled materials to finally present them at a fair. I learned a lot from them.
In 2021 I took care of a little girl from when she was 3 months old until she was 9 months old. I had to prepare her bottles, fed her, and help her to develop the skills that a baby of his age begins to learn, like turning from her side to explore around, entertaining him with toys, or helping her to sleep with lullabies. I also have a little more experience because sometimes I usually work
as a substitute in a daycare center near my house. I have rotated in several areas of children from 1 to 4 years old.
On the other hand, regarding my driving experience, I learned to drive when I was 17 years old, but I was only able to officially get my driver's license a few months ago due to the covid 19 pandemic. I have driven various types of cars such as Kia Picanto, Chevrolet Sail, Hyundai All New Accent, and Kia Pregio. I enjoy driving because I feel safe, it makes it easier for me to do many tasks, I save money and I feel much freer.
