My name is Juan, I’m a 24-year-old Colombian and the oldest of three siblings. Along with being a big brother, I am a professional technician in cooking, pastry, and bakery, which has allowed me to develop skills I’m deeply passionate about.
Although I haven’t yet obtained international recognition for my qualifications in Germany due to some administrative processes, this has been an opportunity to reconnect with my true motivations. I have three main reasons for wanting to be in Germany: my mother is a resident, my brother is German, and I aspire to open a bakery while continuing my education at the renowned Weinheim Akademie. I’m deeply drawn to the process of creating food and the nurturing sense of community that grows around it. As a Christian, I believe there is a spiritual side to this, a connection that I seek to rediscover and share with those around me.
I value growth and personal development, and I always strive for my actions and words to reflect this pursuit of excellence. While I’m structured and duty-oriented—qualities passed down from my grandfather, who was a navy captain—I understand that growth is an ongoing journey. My German is at an uncertified A2 level, and my English is fluent, which will help me communicate and learn as I adapt to new experiences.
Beyond fulfilling my stay in Germany, I am excited to fall in love with the journey and the experience this opportunity will bring. I truly feel that this contact may be a blessing.
