i’m excited about the opportunity to be an au pair and share my experiences with u, i love movies, music, reading biographies and literature, and staying active with swimming, biking, running, and tennis, food is a big part of my life – i enjoy pasta, sushi, and colombian cuisine, which holds a special place in my heart, my culture is important to me, and i believe in respecting others’ rights for a better society,

i’ve spent the last four years living near the sea in the colombian caribbean, in cartagena, and now i’m back near bogota with my family,

my motivation to be an au pair stems from my passion for working with children, i love playing, teaching, and taking them to church, i believe in providing love and wisdom to help them reach their full potential, after my au pair stay, i plan to return to colombia to be with my family before embarking on new adventures, i dream of learning many languages and cultures while contributing positively to those around me,

i’ve been fortunate to have nine nieces and nephews, ranging from 5 to 15 years old, and i’ve been involved in their lives from birth, i love engaging them in educational and creative activities, like learning new words through songs or memory games, arts and crafts, and helping them develop healthy habits, i’ve also guided them through problem-solving and encouraged their independence by involving them in tasks like meal preparation and tidying up, my experience has taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and creating a safe and valued environment for children,

i’m excited about the cultural exchange aspect of this opportunity, sharing my colombian roots with ur family and learning about british culture, i’d love to introduce the children to colombian food, music, and traditions through fun activities, and i’m eager to immerse myself in ur traditions as well,

i’m flexible and can commit to a 6-12 month duration starting between october and november 2024, sweden’s high quality of life and its social protection and solidarity are particularly appealing, but i’m also open to other opportunities if they arise,

i’m a b1 in english according to the london school test and am working on improving my listening skills, i’m confident that immersion in the uk will help me progress, i’m quick to learn and willing to practice with the kids, i’d love to teach them spanish and share healthy colombian recipes,

i’d like to start in january if that works for u, as i’d need to travel to say goodbye to my family before leaving colombia, if this timeline is too tight, i can consider starting earlier,
