Dear future host family

My name is Estefany, I am 22 years old, I am from Bucaramanga- Colombia. Let me tell you something about my city, Bucaramanga is a beautiful city of Colombia, it has a warm climate, many parks to visit and the people are very kind and hardworking.
I currently live with my dad and my younger brother who is 15 years old, I love my family and spending time with them, we like to cook on Sundays barbecues and watch movies, we also like to go hiking in the mountains and get some fresh air.
At the moment I am not studying but I do want to study speech therapy and be able to help many people who need it with this profession.
I want to be an Au Pair because I love children and spending time with them, children teach you many things that sometimes as adults we forget, I also want to improve my level of English and this is a great opportunity to learn more, I chose the United States because it seems It is a beautiful country with many landscapes, parks and many places to visit. It is also a multicultural country, which I think is great since I will be able to meet people from different places.
I love to travel. I have had the opportunity to travel around my country and see beautiful places, meet different people and different cultures. I also really like walks and enjoy the fresh air, the nature and landscapes. I like to go to the gym to stay fit and because it is also good for your health. I also love to cook and learn new recipes, I like crafts and painting are activities that relax me.
Regarding my experience in child care, I have had the opportunity to care for children of various ages, one was my cousin, he is 6 years old, I had to pick him up from school, I helped him with his homework and since he has a lot of energy I took him to the park or to ride a bike if the weather was good or we did crafts at home I also took care of two girls, one of 5 and 6 years old with them I had to help them with homework and we spent time playing at home I took care of my brother when he was little I helped him with homework and projects I played with He prepared his snack for him. I also had the opportunity to take care of a 3-year-old boy. He was the youngest I've ever taken care of. I spent much more time with him since his mother is a single mother and has a disability, so she worked and had I had to go to therapies so most of the time I took care of the child, I prepared his food, I bathed him and dressed him, I took him to the park to play and I also taught him at home through crafts, in this case because of the condition The mother of the child also helped her wash the child's clothes and with some housework, with all this I have acquired a lot of responsibility. I am a very respectful and organized person. I also like to help in everything I can so that we are all more comfortable and I learn quickly whenever there is something new.
