Hi! My name is Daniela and I am a Psychology graduate (with Honours) from Colombia, currently looking for a nanny or child caregiver position in Ontario, Canada.
I have over 3 years of direct experience working with children of all ages — from infants to teenagers — in educational and child and family services settings. My background in child and family psychology gives me a deep understanding of children's emotional, social, and developmental needs, and practical tools to support each child in a nurturing, respectful, and fun way.
I am also a certified Yoga and Mindfulness Instructor for children and youth, so I love incorporating movement, breathing exercises, and mindfulness activities into everyday play and routines. Kids genuinely enjoy it, and it helps them build focus, emotional balance, and self-confidence.
In my experience I have: supervised and cared for multi-age groups of children, planned and led age-appropriate activities and outings, prepared nutritious meals, assisted with homework, taken children to school and appointments, instructed children in personal hygiene and social development, maintained daily logs, performed light housekeeping, and supported children's emotional well-being every day.
I am patient, organized, reliable, and warm — and I genuinely love working with children. I speak native Spanish, which can be a wonderful advantage for families who want their children exposed to a second language from an early age.
I am available for both full-time and part-time positions, open to travel with the family, and ready to relocate to Ontario. I look forward to meeting your family!
