Introduction
My motivation to become an Au Pair stems from several factors. Firstly, I aspire to enhance my English proficiency through participation in this program. Although I possess a certain level of English proficiency, I am aware that there is still room for improvement. Engaging in conversations with you and your family, I believe, will provide me with ample opportunities to practice and refine my speaking and listening skills.
Secondly, I am keen to broaden my cultural horizons and prepare myself for studying abroad and future global travels through the Au Pair program. Interacting with you and your family, I look forward to understanding and immersing myself in different cultures. This will enrich my life experiences and serve as a valuable asset for my future life.
Moreover, I bring to your family a set of skills and experiences that can be of value. Firstly, I have extensive experience in childcare. Taking care of my younger brother, who is 13 years old, has taught me patience, attentiveness, and an understanding of children's needs and preferences. I enjoy spending time with children and am willing to be their friend and mentor.
Additionally, I am skilled in Chinese cuisine, particularly in Shandong cuisine, which is renowned as one of the top eight culinary traditions in China. I would be thrilled to share my culinary skills with your family and perhaps even introduce you to some delicious Chinese dishes. If your children have a penchant for Chinese dishes or desserts, I would be delighted to prepare delicious meals for them. I believe that sharing food fosters emotional connections and contributes to a warm and harmonious family environment.
Lastly, I assure you of my flexibility and sense of responsibility. I can commence the program in April 2024 (subject to visa processing), and am available for a minimum of one month, up to a maximum of 18 months. I will adapt to your family's lifestyle and strive to assist you in resolving any challenges, thus becoming a dependable assistant and companion.
