Hello! My future host family. I hope you are doing well. I am Yuyin Zhang,my English name is Tarona, 23-year-old from China. I am an aupair applicant who is passionate about getting along with children. In my learning and work experience, I have accumulated rich experience in taking care of children, which has made me more convinced that I am capable of fulfilling the role of an aupair.
I provided childcare services for a five-year-old boy in Guangzhou from September 2022 to June 2023. During this period, I not only tutored him with his math homework, but also accompanied him in indoor and outdoor play and handicrafts, helping him make significant progress in his studies. His parents were very satisfied with my job and therefore increased my salary. However, with the return of the mother and the busy schedule of my personal studies at school, I eventually ended this job.
Afterwards, I transferred to Shanghai from July 2023 to January 2024 to take care of a nine year old girl. I not only serve as a tutor and part-time teacher, but also as a mother's assistant, responsible for picking her up and down to school, preparing simple meals, participating in handicraft production, and occasionally cleaning. During this period, I established a deep relationship with her, and she even treated me like a big sister. This experience has made me more convinced of my way of getting along with children.
Between February and April 2024, I was responsible for taking care of a two-year-old boy, responsible for his daily care, including bottle feeding, indoor and outdoor play, cleaning the game area, washing clothes, soothing sleep, and preparing baby food. Although the parents of the child are busy with business, they still make time to take care of the child with me. In this family, I have experienced deep warmth and friendship. Although for various reasons, I cannot provide photos to prove, this experience is undoubtedly a valuable asset in my career. At the same time, I am happy to take care of the babies again because watching them grow up day by day gives me a sense of accomplishment.
In addition, I often participate in volunteer activities, especially as an art director at children's charitable organizations. This gave me the opportunity to interact with children of different age groups and quickly establish friendships with them. I am well aware that interacting with children requires patience, attention, and love, and these are qualities that I have gradually developed through my past experiences.
My original goal in applying for Aupair is to continue growing together with the children, providing them with care and companionship, while improving my teaching experience and improving my English.
