Dear future host family:
Nice to meet you. My name is QINGJIAO MA, you can all me Lily. I am 24 years old. I come from Yunnan Kunming which is located in the southwestern of China.
I graduated from Yunnan Mingzu University in 2020. In college, I majored in Primary education, and I am also qualified to be a teacher for elementary school mathematics. I had an opportunity to have an internship while I was in the third year of my college. During my internship, I went to work at an elementary school in XiaMen Shi to be a cadet teacher for the third grade from Monday to Friday for five months. There were fifty-two students in my class, and they were between the ages of eight to nine years old. During my time there, I taught the children mathematics, as well as tought the little girls in my class how to dance on an International Children’s Day and solved many problems for some of the naughty boys in the class. In the rest time, I played with them outdoors and indoors, and helped with their study, homework and classmate relationship when they met problems. In the lunch time, I took care of them and ate with them, after lunch we took rest together.
I used work a full-time job as an office assistant on the weekdays from December 2020 to June 2022, and I used work a part-time job as a mother’s helper on the weekends from April 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022, I started taking care of the little girl named Yoyo when she was just three months old since her father was busy at work and her mother needed some helps. I changed her diapers, bathed her, fed her, taught her how to walk and speak, read her books. She was always so happy when she was staying with me, I love her so much.
Speaking of my personality, I am a responsible, patient, optimistic and energetic person. I am also a people person and love making new friends.
As for some of my advantages, I am a quick learner, I can cook and bake with the recipes. I also have a WA driver’s license, by the way, I am a good driver since I’ve been driving for three years. I love kids and enjoy spending time with them, such as playing with them, helping them with study, teaching them, and cook meals for them, as if I was their big sister. So, there would be no problem for me when it comes to taking care of children.
I arrived in the USA on 15th July 2022. I worked for my last host family in Greenwich, CT from 16th Jul to 4th Sep and took care of their two sons who are 2 and 3 years old, I love them so much, they treated me very well and I really appraciate it, but for some changes of the host family, we rematched, from then on, I’ve been working for my current host family in Bothell, WA and taking care of two girls who are 3 and 8 years old, they are very cute and smart, I love them so much, but due to my host mother's job change, they don't need an aupair anymore, so I am now in the process of finding a new host family.
