My name is Rosemarie and I am 19 years old. I want to become an Au Pair because my mom was one in Paris when she was my age and had a very positive experience back then. I am very responsible and love working with children. It is rewarding to me to help them learn and grow. Because I am a creative person I am capable of creating engaging activities for them such as arts and crafts and making music with them. I find that there are many beneficial effects to this such as giving them a sense of achievement while stimulating their creativity.
I am bilingual in English and Dutch, with passive knowledge of German. In my spare time I enjoy creating visual art, and music. I have been playing the piano for 10 years and play the guitar and sing as well. Besides my hobbies I also enjoy studying and have graduated high school with a grade 12 average of 91 percent. The subjects that I have studied include University English, Jazz music, History, Geography, Social Studies, Ceramics, Visual Arts, Drama, and an introduction course to Anthropology, Psychology, and Sociology.
I have worked as a barista at Coffee Culture for 9 months. I enjoy working with people and I am an empathetic, patient person who is capable of working well under pressure both in a team and by myself. Recently I have worked on a kibbutz in Israel from August 2023 until October 2023. I was working as a painter, painting murals in the kindergartens.
