Hello! My name is Adelaide, and I am a Canadian and American university student who loves working with children. I have lived in Canada, the United States, Sweden, and China, which has given me a global perspective and a love of learning about different people and cultures.
I would describe myself as energetic, creative, dependable, and a little goofy. I love spending time outdoors, playing sports, doing arts and crafts, reading stories, helping with homework, and finding fun ways to keep kids engaged and learning. As a business and math student, I am comfortable helping with schoolwork, and I genuinely enjoy teaching and mentoring young people.
I have experience working with children as both a sailing instructor and ski coach, where I taught skills, built confidence, and created safe, positive environments for kids to learn and grow. These roles taught me how to balance responsibility with fun while adapting to the unique needs and personalities of each child. Safety is extremely important to me, and I hold CPR and First Aid certifications.
I am also a huge animal lover and am happy to help with pets.
