Dear Host Family, hello from the other side of the globe!
My name is Maria Eduarda, but I will for sure tell you to "just call me Madu". I’m a 23-year-old pedagogy graduate, experienced teacher, and lifelong explorer of the world and its wonders! Since 2019, I’ve been working with children across different ages and backgrounds, and each encounter has only deepened my love for education, play, and the magic of childhood.
As an Au Pair, I’m now looking to embrace a new adventure — not only to support a wonderful family and be part of your daily life, but also to experience cultural exchange in the most meaningful way: through connection, meaningful relationships, and shared memories. At this moment, I believe becoming an Au Pair feels like a natural extension of my path, where my passion for children and my curiosity about the world can meet in your home.
With the kind-heartedness of an early years educator, 've led classrooms, designed playful learning journeys, and supported children emotionally and creatively. I’m patient, attentive, andI take a lot of pride in using my time alongside my little ones in getting to know them and supporting them reach their full potentials.
Beyond the classroom, I’m also a storyteller, crafter, and enthusiastic cook (expect some fun snack adventures!). I also love being surrounded by friends and family and being active - wether it is swimming or just going for an afternoon walk, I am always down for new adventures!
Despite my young age, I have lived in 12 different places throughout my life, which I believe has given me a deep appreciation for diversity, adaptability, and open communication. From small towns to big cities, I’ve learned how to build a sense of home wherever I go — and I hope to bring that same warmth, care, and flexibility into your family life.
