It’s amazing having you reading this letter. My name is Ana Clara, but people mostly call me Ana which I really like it. I am from Brazil living at the northeast coast area. The weather is hot the entire year over here. I had the opportunity to see the snow at the first time in my life when I was in Canada during my long term student program, which was an amazing experience for me. I also had a host family to guide me through the process of learning English and the Canadian culture. I had the opportunity to live abroad and meet new people from different cultures. At this time I would like to become an au pair in America because I’m really interested to learn more from this culture and improve my skills with child care. I’ve been working through hotels as an animator/nanny with kids from 01 to 12 years old. I could develop activities with painting drawings and light physical activities to get the kids active such as dancing and activities jumping or running. It was approximately 1 year working with kids developing their creativity skills and artistic abilities. I had some atypical kids who I could learn more about the autism spectrum and improve and challenge myself to adapt my approach to make those kids comfortable and included with all the other ones. I love how kids are really sincere lol it’s a kind of humor I don’t know how to explain. Also I had experience with babies such as diapering and feeding. It’s a lovely and magic moment take caring of babies. Since my family is really huge I always had to help my cousins to take care of the kids and raising them like they were my own kids. I wish my future host family and I can have amazing moments and create a healthy atmosphere making sure the kids will be well cared and the parents will be satisfied with my company in their home.
