First of all, thank you for you interest in my profile. My name is Esther Maria Llanque Villca. I am 26 years old. I was born in Bolivia and I live in the heart of my country, the city of Cochabamba. Currently, I live only with my mother. Her name is Andrea. My relationship with her is wonderful. She is always there when I need her, giving me advice and support, as well as supporting me in the decision to go to the United States and live this experience. I have 3 older siblings. The oldest is María Eugenia and she is 35 years old. The next one is Gustavo and he is 32 years old. My other brother is Cristhian and he is 29 years old. We are a very united, sociable, affective and communicative family. We owe everything to my mother, who despite being a single mother many years ago brought my brothers and me forward with a lot of sacrifice and love. She is a great example for us. She is our pride and motivation.

God blessed me with my beautiful family, which also includes my 4 dogs and 4 chickens. I like animals. I have no problem taking care of them. I am about to finish my studies in Public Accounting. During my stay at the university, I have learned to be much more responsible than I was before and to mature as a person. I think it was good for me since I had the opportunity to face several situations from which I learned to be patient and persevere. There I discovered more of my abilities. As for me, I consider myself an open person who carries out her tasks and works diligently. When there is something I don't quite understand or I have a goal, I work twice as hard until I achieve it. I am open to other people and cultures. It is good to discover how wonderful this world is through different cultures and traditions. I have good friends who add a lot to my life. I consider myself an adventurous person who likes to explore nature. The feeling of being outdoors is something magically. I like to teach others about my Bolivian culture as well as learning from others.

I am Christian and in my church I am part of the tambourine and dance ministry. It is something that I am passionate about being able to transmit joy through the tambourine and joy through dance. I also help give classes to the children of my church. They are few of them but they are full of enthusiasm and desire to learn.
In terms of my values I am someone respectful, honest, humble, empathetic, patient, and above all positive and I believe that constructive criticism always helps me to improve. Regarding my experience in childcare, I would like to mention that I have worked with children from 6 months to 5 years old. My responsibilities have always been to ensure their safety and integrity, help them with their homework, prepare them to sleep, prepare some food, play with them, wash their clothes and to do activities that will help them develop their skills.

My first experience was taking care of a 6-month-old baby. I had to prepare her bottles, give her food and help her develop the skills that a baby of her age begins to learn. Later, I began to work with 1-year-old boy and in the same way I was in charge of his feeding, and his development such as improving his speech and beginning to walk. I currently take care of two children, a two-month-old baby and her 5-year-old brother. My responsibilities are mainly their feeding, entertainment, higiene and supporting them in the process of developing their motor and cognitive skills. Each experience has been enriching for me. Each child is different and special and being able to discover their world is fantastic. I believe I have the necessary skills and experience to provide child care.

I consider that this program is a great opportunity to demonstrate those skills and live a different experience in another country, with the support of a host family, explore new cultural aspects, improve my language skills and live an unforgettable year with my new family.
