My name is Jemimah , I'm 24 years old and I am a dual national of Nigeria and Bénin Republique.
I am an open minded, responsible, patient, independent, flexible and warm-hearted girl who absolutely loves working with
children!
I often helped in a primary school and worked as a teacher, so I’m used to working with
children and I immediately bond with them. After a short time, I often become something
like a big sister for them.
I have an 11 & 7-year-old nephew's and a 2-year old niece, they mean a lot to me and I have looked after them for a long time.
I am not only their adorable aunt but also their good friend. That is the reason why I have
always had a great relationship with children: I am not only a responsible educator, but also their friend.
I am full of energy, photography is something I'm passionate about. I love capturing moments.

I would like to live with a Dutch, English or French speaking family to experience a different culture and as well
because I would love to work with children in the future and this would be a fantastic
opportunity to strengthen my skills in this area.

In my free time, I love researching because significantly it enhances knowledge and critical thinking skills, sometimes I like skipping because I feel it personally keeps my physical and mental health stable. My first experience with kids was with my nephew's Stephen (he's 11-year-old now) and John (he's 7-year-old now), I used to take care of them, while my sisters were at work, I bath them, feed them, teach and play with them and their friend who comes to our house to do his homework. I used to prepare and take them to school, pick them up after school , listen to them talk about their day and upcoming events happily, I equally take them out to the beach, for a walk, for an ice cream and to my friends.
My second experience was with my niece Zara (she's 2-year-old now). Although Zara was born in another city, I travelled to visit my sister and my niece. There I was helping her take care of Zara whenever she leaves for the market, I'd make sure I bottle feed Zara when she wakes up from sleep, I would carry her and walk around the house singing, bath and change her diaper, then put her to bed
My last child experience was with my neighbors children, her little daughter was a year old and her son was 3-year-old. My responsibilities were bottle feeding, changing diapers, putting her daughter to bed, feeding her brother, playing and teaching him, bathing and putting him to bed whenever she wasn't at home.
With my childcare experience and my genuine love for children, I believe that I can be a good support to you, I will share the best of me , take good care of your children, learn their likes and dislikes, play with them, adhere to your house rules, teach and also learn with them, take them to school and back home, be there for them, listen to them, feed them and also do their homework with them.
The reason why I want to be an aupair is because I genuinely have love for children and new experiences.
To me children are like a fountain of joy. I can never get enough of their lovely innocent personalities and truthfulness .
Also I see this program as a great opportunity to know a different country and culture, meet new people, learn a new way of life, gain new experiences, and also do one of the things I love the most.
Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my language skills as well.
After the Au-pair program, I'd like to return to my country, and further my education.
