My name is Favour, but everyone around me calls me “mother,” due to my personality.
I’m a Nigerian living in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
I’m a nurturing, patient, dedicated caregiver with over 16 years of hands-on experience as a nanny and home manager. My journey caring for children has been shaped by love, responsibility, and a deep understanding of early childhood development.

*EXPERIENCE*

• I have been caring for two children from infancy since two thousand eight at Madam Naomi’s residence.
• I oversee and manage everything that concerns them
• When addressing behavioral challenges, I strongly believe in the power of positive reinforcement. This approach fosters a respectful and caring atmosphere and ensures the overall well-being of the children under my care.

• Since twenty thirteen, I have volunteered as a Sunday school teacher, teaching Bible-based lessons and supervising children aged five to eight.
• In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I assist my colleagues in organizing various events and outings for the children, ensuring they have memorable and enriching experiences..

- I have also completed a one-year internship as an assistant nursery teacher at an Indian International School in Cotonou.
During my internship, I had the privilege to tutor two of my Nursery special students, instructed the lower and upper classes in dance and cooking, completed some arts and crafts projects, helped them with writing, reading, feeding, toileting, and napping; it was an incredible experience for me.

*MY MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE*
One of my most memorable experiences with children was when one of the kids in my Nursery class walked up to me and asked, “Miss Favour, why are you so nice”? I looked at her, smiled, and replied, “I’m always nice because nice people make the world a better place”. She beamed and said, “I will always be nice like you”. Moments like that remind me why I do what I do.
