My name is Favour and I am 28 years old. I come from Nigeria a beautiful country with a rich culture and history.
I am a graduate with a degree in Business Administration. I speak English fluently; I can communicate in French, and I have been learning German and Spanish for 2 weeks with Duolingo App.
My hobbies include:
* Singing, dancing, coloring, reading, exercising, writing, making people laugh, playing/styling hair and helping young people learn and grow
*While my Interests include:nature, travel, people's well being,language learning and Music.
My Family:
I have a loving polygamous family with 5 wives and 8 siblings. Although we are far away from each other, we still find a way to communicate.
My Experience:
*I have always loved children and I have an excellent experience in taking care of children from all ages/walks of life.
*I have worked as a babysitter for different families, I have volunteered at an orphanage with my friends for 3 months and
*I am a Sunday School Teacher at my local church.I have been doing this since 2013-present, and I teach children from the age of 5 to 10 years old.
*I have been living and working as a live in Nanny to two lovely kids for more than 15 years now in Cotonou, Benin Republic
*My work as their nanny:
*To play games, read stories, do crafts, colour, cook and help with homework.
*Since their parents are very busy,
*I provide physical and emotional care and assistance to them
*I maintain a safe and clean environment for them
*When their parents travel out of town, I am always there to keep them safe and be their second mother.
My Personality:
*I am naturally patient:I understand that every child is unique and sometimes require more attention and care.
*I am easy to live with.
*I am responsible and fun to be with: As long as we both play our parts well, you won't regret having me as the big sister to your children.
*I am neat:I won the neatest student awards back then in secondary schools.
*I am energetic and bubbly; there is no dull moments around me and my friends and family call me the "Energizer".
*Last but not the least, I build strong bonds:I am friendly with children/everyone and I always create good memories wherever I go.
Reasons I want to be an Au Pair or Nanny Abroad:
I have great passion for children and I enjoy making positive impacts on their lives and want to extend it worldwide.
1:Although I graduated with a degree in Business Administration,it has always been my dream to work as a Childminder, Teacher or work in Children's Center; precisely an NGO in International Settings. I have tons of experience with kids in my home country; so getting more experience with kids abroad will give me a greater chance of being employed in my chosen field.
2:I am so in love with Western cultures and wish to experience it someday. But the countries I am most fascinated and imagined the day I will set my feet in are; France, Denmark, Spain, China, Luxembourg, Italy and Germany. Their cultures, cuisine, fashion sense and way of life really amazes me. So being an Au Pair abroad is the best and safest way to visit and be in these amazing countries.
3: Although my main work as an au pair is looking after and taking care of the kids, but it is a great opportunity for me to learn a new language, and live with a family/country different from mine. It is also a great way to grow as a person and become more independent.
