Dear family,

My name is Live Martine and I am an 18-year-old girl living in Austria. In this letter I would love to tell you more about myself.
I live in a small town called Groß-Enzersdorf that is located near the capital city Vienna. With my parents and my brother I live in a house with a garden. We love to go on walks in the beautiful nature or in the inner city which we can reach easily by bus or car. My father is Austrian but my mom is originally from Norway (Skien) so therefore i‘m basically fluent in norwegian.
As of right now i am 18 years old, though I will be turning 19 in may.
In my free time I like meeting friends or just hanging out at home. I also do cheerleading which consumes most of my time right now. I am attending my last year of school and I am graduating in june.
I would like to become an Au Pair in Norway because i love working with kids and would like to improve my language skills. Although I talk norwegian with my mom daily i am not fully confident talking and especially writing norwegian. This would be a great opportunity to become more comfortable with the language.
I am organised and i am also used to helping my mom with the chores that need to be done in the household. Additionally I really enjoy cooking and love trying out new recipes and experimenting with food.
I am fluent in 3 languages, german, english and norwegian, witch comes in handy when the kids need help with their school work. It’s also an advantage that I don’t really need to attend a language school anymore.
I worked as a coach at my cheerleading oranization for two years, therefore I have some experience working with kids.
In addition to practicing the language I would use the opportunity to find out what I want to do in the future. Although I haven‘t got that much experience in being a Nanny or Au Pair, I am very flexible and can adapt easily to new situations.
I am a very reliable and adventurous person. My hobby is cheerleading, which I have done for about 5 years now. I also enjoy reading, cooking and being active. When I meet my friends we like to go on walks, play Just Dance or play board games. After my time as an Au Pair I am probably going to start college although as of now, i don‘t know in what direction in want to go.
