My name is Chiara, I’m a 20-year-old girl from Italy. I am currently in Australia where I’ve been living for the past year. This experience has sparked my passion for travelling, and I’m now excited to continue my journey as an au pair in a new part of the world.
I have experience caring for kids of different ages. I enjoy spending time with children - helping them learn, play and grow.
I have been an au pair twice before and would be happy to provide references from my latest host family.
In addition to my childcare experience, I also have experience in professional cleaning and I would always be happy to help around the house.
I’m often described as calm, positive, and dependable. While I have a relaxed personality, I always take my responsibilities seriously and aim to be organized and attentive in everything I do. I’m energetic and active, I love running and climbing, but I also enjoy quieter hobbies like reading, journaling, and photography.

Experience
I have been an AuPair two times before in:
• France 01/07/2023 - 16/10/2023 (French-Polish family)
Looked after two kids, a girl (4 years old) and a boy (7 years old)
• Australia 19/07/2024 - 26/12/2024 (Italian-Belgian family)
Looked after two kids, a girl (5 years old) and a boy (7 years old)
They were both incredible experiences where I got to explore new places, meet great people, and pick up new languages. Living with the families and spending time with the kids every day helped me learn a lot about different cultures. These experiences have also strengthened my adaptability and communication skills.
I also have experience caring for toddlers and teenagers.

About me
I have a wide variety of hobbies and interests. I enjoy reading non-fiction and literature books. I like running and climbing. I find climbing to be very rewarding because it allows me to challenge myself like no other sport. Whereas running helps me push my limits but also unwind. This past year I have been really into cooking, I have leaned how to make different dishes, from ratatouille to fresh handmade pasta. I have also been very keen on photography, and I love shooting both digital and film.
