Introduction
Hello! My Name is Malena Almengor and I am a psychology student from the United States. I am planning a move to Spain in January 2027 to prepare for university. I am enrolling in 20=30 hours/ week of coursework to prepare for university testing, and am looking for part time work.
I have worked in childcare for about 6-7 years, working with children of all ages and abilities. I have the most experience with children under the age of 6 and children with developmental disorders. I love reading with kids, going to the park, talking about their favorite things, practicing languages, doing homework together, whatever they find joy in. It makes me elated to see kids happy to learn.
I am a beginner-intermediate level Spanish speaker. My father is from Panama, and although I am not fluent I have a strong Spanish base. My goal during this move is to work towards achieving full fluency that I never reached as a child. I am looking for a family who can help me reach this goal while I study in preparation for admission to university.
