My name is Heloysa, I’m a Brazilian au pair with over two years of professional experience caring for children in the United States, along with more than 200 hours of certified childcare experience before starting the program. Throughout these years, I faced different challenges, supported children in their daily routines, and developed confidence, adaptability, and strong problem?solving skills. Being a strong driver also helped me manage busy schedules safely and efficiently.
I come from a loving and supportive family in Brazil, and our caring relationship has taught me the importance of respect, kindness, and good communication values that I naturally bring into my relationships with host families. I am friendly, responsible, honest, and easy to talk to. My personality is best described as extroverted, attentive, enthusiastic, committed, patient, respectful, and creative.
In my free time, I really enjoy discovering new places in the city, going to the gym, walking outdoors, rollerblading, dancing, singing karaoke, swimming, and spending time with friends. I also love learning new languages and exploring different cultures.
Regarding my education and background, I have worked with the public since I was 14 years old—first as a receptionist and later in sales. These experiences helped me develop excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm and positive in all kinds of situations. I didn’t start university because becoming an au pair has been my goal since I was 17, so I dedicated myself to English studies for almost two years before joining the program.
My motivation to continue as an au pair is to live new experiences, explore Europe, improve my cultural understanding, and save money to continue my studies in Brazil in the future. I truly love working with children, and I’m confident in the quality of care I provide.
My English skills are strong—I arrived able to communicate well, and after two years abroad, I became even more fluent. I’m always motivated to keep improving and expanding my vocabulary.
As for my expectations, I am looking for a respectful, kind, honest, organized, and professional family who values open communication and aims to have the best possible experience together. I am friendly and easygoing, and I appreciate a warm and cooperative environment, even if we are not necessarily looking for a “family?like” relationship.
