Hello! My name is Youssef and I am a 19 year old Computer Science student from New York. I am very excited about the possibility of joining your family as an au pair and mentor. I believe that my background in education and my active lifestyle make me a great fit for families looking for a dependable and engaging big brother figure for their children.

Currently I work as a substitute paraprofessional within the New York school system where I focus on supporting children with special needs. My daily work involves providing academic assistance and behavioral support to ensure every student can succeed in a classroom environment regardless of their specific challenges. Working with special needs children has taught me extreme patience and the importance of clear and consistent communication. I am skilled at setting firm but loving boundaries and I take great pride in helping kids feel included and empowered to reach their full potential.

Beyond my school work I have spent two summers as a camp counselor for kids aged 6 to 13 where I was responsible for their safety and for planning activities that encouraged teamwork and self confidence. I am also a former Boy Scout with a strong background in camping and outdoor leadership. Years of scouting have taught me how to be resourceful and prepared for any situation. I am very comfortable in nature and I always prioritize safety and responsibility. Whether we are in the backyard or on a family camping trip I bring a disciplined and helpful mindset rooted in my scouting experience.

While I am not a competitive athlete I lead a very athletic and active lifestyle. I stay fit through weightlifting and football and I love sharing that energy with kids to keep them moving and healthy. I also enjoy the intellectual side of things and as a Computer Science major I am happy to help with STEM projects or coding kits to spark curiosity in technology. I lead a healthy and organized lifestyle with zero phone distractions when I am with children. I have zero tattoos and zero piercings.

I am fluent in both English and Arabic and I am a confident driver with a clean background check.
