My name is Alex and I am 25 years old. I’ve spent the past few months working for my fathers company (Global Corporate Finance). I’m still in school for Business and I am currently taking online classes. I have spent over a year working for AmeriCorps in Texas and California. We work for 7 days (sometimes a month) straight in the field, clearing invasive vegetation and maintaining both state and national parks. I have worked in extreme weather conditions to support wildlife and conservation specialists. Previously, I attended various colleges including the Naval Academy playing Division 1 lacrosse.

While attending St Joseph’s Preparatory School, I volunteered at various projects including Habitat for Humanity, Philadelphia beautification projects, and school directed service projects. These ranged from several days to two weeks in duration. We constructed homes, cleaned up industrial sites, cooked for the indigent, and had various building projects. I spent one month in the Vermont Youth Corps planting trees, clearing trails, and doing various maintenance chores. I completed an 8-week NOLS course for college credits as well. I have my A-faller certification for cutting trees and I’m also CPR trained. This past summer I valet parked cars at nice restaurants all over New York City and the Philadelphia area. My customer service has improved tremendously after having this job.

I would love to work for a family right now who's willing to have me for at least a year. I have skills with outside work along with any duties needed inside the home. I'm great with cooking and animals as well. I love teaching kids how to play sports. I spent a lot of time volunteering my time to coaching lacrosse and other sports as I played Division 1 in college. I'm finishing up school right now online and I will have a degree in Business.
