Hi future family! My name is Laura, I'm a 20 year old who loves fun, adventure, and working with children! I've been volunteering abroad in SE Asia for the past year. The first half spent with a group of other students working with various NGOs as we traveled through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
For the second half, I went to volunteer alone in the Philippines at an orphanage. I lived in a home stay and truly felt like a member of the family. I made many friends and genuinely enjoyed myself and the people around me.
I come from a very tight nit family and I understand the importance of cultural traditions and creating a compassionate and loving family environment.I also love travelling, meeting new people, and learning as much as I can in the process.
