Hi, my name is Mia, throughout my 8+ years of experience I have nannied, babysat, as well at coached kids of every age from new borns to 15 years old. I just graduated from The University of Arizona, where I am studied Special Education and Psychology. In college I also played on the women's lacrosse team all 4 years. That being said, I am very organized and punctual so although I don't have professional experience being a personal assistant I am confident I would excel in that role. I am often regarded by past employers as caring, trustworthy, and reliable. I enjoy finding fun and creative activities that allow kids to stay active and/or build their creativity/learning while ensuring safety is a top priority. I am looking for a job out of the United States, in order to expand my knowledge on other parts of the world and gain experiences in different cultures. They type of nanny I am is young, lively, and strive to make the child (whether they are a newborn or a teen) as safe as possible, both physically and emotionally. In previous jobs my employers have told me that their children have felt like I was their friend but still respected me more than previous nannies or babysitters they have had. I like teaching the kids I nanny life skills such as teamwork, friendship, and confidence while playing with them in numerous ways. I pride myself on being able to entertain and care for children without having them watch TV or using a tablet, but rather going outside or doing fun games indoors.
