Introduction
My name is Jill, and I’m from the United States. I’m currently looking for a host family and hoping to start around February or March.
Experience:
Although this would be my first time as an au pair, I have extensive experience working with children. I’ve been babysitting for over five years, worked as a summer camp counselor for two years, and I’m currently a lead at a childcare center. In my job, I’ve worked with children from 3 months to 10 years old, and I love being a positive role model, someone kids can trust, learn from, and look up to. One of my strengths is connecting with different personalities and helping children feel comfortable, supported, and happy.
My personality:
I’d describe myself as very easygoing, flexible, bubbly, and energetic. I love being around people and am always open to trying new things. I also consider myself responsible and dependable, someone you can trust to care for your children and help keep things running smoothly. I value communication and am always happy to help wherever I can. If you ever need assistance with something, I’m more than willing to step in!
My motivation:
When I was a baby, my parents hired an au pair because they both had to return to work. Our au pair stayed with us for a long time and truly became part of our family. We became very close, and I’m still great friends with her today. I always looked up to her and was inspired by her decision to move to another country and work with a family. Because of that experience, I’ve always admired the au pair role and would love to create that same positive impact for another family.
I recently graduated high school in December and plan to attend university next fall, and I see this as a meaningful and special experience during my time off from school. I love to travel, experience new cultures, and step outside my comfort zone.
I’m really excited about the idea of joining a family and becoming a positive role model for your children. Please feel free to reach out, I’d love to connect and chat more.
Thank you so much for considering me ?
-Jill
