Hi there, I’m Khanya! I am a Tennessee-based caregiver with an A.S.T in Early Childcare Education who has had a TON of fun throughout the years caring for kiddos like your little ones!

I was previously working as a nanny for a family I love dearly for about 8 months until they left for India during the winter! Being able to immerse myself into their culture and individual family life really sparked my desire to learn and experience from different families of all different walks of life, cultures, languages, nationalities, etc.


Before that, most of my career (about 3+ years now) has been spent working in daycares with children anywhere from 2 months to 5 years of age, as well as babysitting here and there!

As a daycare teacher, I implemented daily schedules (personally curated and school curated curriculum) filled with DAP learning, developmental assesments and documentation, music, behavioral and emotional guidance, and LOTS of playtime, of course!


As a nanny, I brought what I knew and learned as I acclimated with the family! Each family is different and home life can be quite hectic, so I’ve learned that if a schedule is hard to stick with, it’s very important to adapt and go with the flow with what each day has to bring!


I am currently carnivorous, but working on getting back to veganism. I have no issue if you are not, as I live harmoniously with people that have all kinds of diets and lifestyles! (I also have a big heart for animals, so I don’t mind your fur/nonfur babies!)


I am a HUGE nature girl, I love hiking around the trails in my city, biking, and just walking around, well, everywhere haha!
