My name is Erika, and I’m originally from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, which has given me both theoretical and hands-on experience in child development and caregiving. As part of my education, I had the opportunity to work directly with children, providing care, support, and tutoring — experiences that truly ignited my passion for nurturing young minds.
Currently, I’m in the United States on an L1 visa. With my current company unfortunately closing, I am looking forward to transitioning into a new opportunity that aligns more closely with my heart — caring for others, especially children, in a meaningful and personal way.
Before this, I ran the operations of an adult day care facility, overseeing the care of elderly individuals with warmth and dedication. That role strengthened my skills in organization, patience, compassion, and leadership — qualities that I now bring into my desire to become an au pair.
