Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Keila, and I am currently working as an au pair in Austria. This past year has been incredibly rewarding and has strengthened my passion for childcare, cultural exchange, and supporting children as they grow.
Before becoming an au pair, I worked as an aftercare teacher for grades K–2. In that role, I helped children with homework, supervised activities, and created a safe and encouraging environment where they felt supported academically and emotionally. These experiences helped me develop strong skills in patience, communication, responsibility, and guiding children of different learning styles and personalities.
A bit about me: I love being creative and enjoy connecting with children through hands-on activities such as cooking, baking, arts and crafts, and imaginative play. I’ve also served in my church’s kids’ ministry, which helped me build empathy, consistency, and a nurturing approach—qualities that I bring into every childcare setting. I truly enjoy helping children feel understood, safe, and valued.
Being an au pair has also helped me grow personally. I enjoy exploring new cultures, trying new foods, learning languages, and building meaningful relationships with the families I meet. I’m always eager to learn more and to become a helpful part of a family’s daily routine.
I am available to start as soon as possible, and the latest I can begin is the first week of December. I’m flexible, responsible, and committed to supporting your family’s needs—whether that includes helping with routines, homework, activities, or simply providing a warm and positive presence in your home.
