Hello! My name is Elizabeth (Lizzy) and I am a 21 year old part-time student and full-time substitute teacher looking to . I grew up in Atlanta, GA with my two younger siblings and then after high school I moved to New York City as a professional oboist and pursued my collegiate studies for classical music at a conservatory. However, after three years I decided to change my degree path to follow my passion for teaching and childcare and began working as a substitute teacher in Nashville, TN! My job is amazing, however I want to find something more permanent and join a new community.
I am Red Cross certified in “Babysitting Basics” and CPR, and have received first aid training from working as a Summer Camp Health Assistant in 2023. I have 5+ of experience and training in teaching grades K-12, babysitting ages 3-10, and how to keep engagement during one-on-one lessons vs. groups. I know how to keep a clean living space and can definitely help with laundry, dishes, and tidying up. I also love to cook and would be honored to share my famous Southern Fried Chicken recipe with a new family!
I have a lot of hobbies and always enjoy trying new things. Crafting is my favorite pastime, along with reading, sewing, watching movies, or going to dance class! My plans after being an au pair are currently to return to university in person, however I’m still undeclared in my major.
