Hi! I am Claire a 23 year old recent college graduate. I have about 2 years of experience total in babysitting and nannying. I babysat in high school for family friends and neighbors and had the pleasure of entertaining 3 little boys, going into 4th and 5th grade, full-time, during the summer for a few weeks. I have experience working as a counselor for an all boys summer camp as well as many years working as a vacation Bible school counselor. I'd love to fill your families life with fun, creativity, and assistance in daily home life and child care. I am a great listener who adapts calmly to different situations. I am very dependable and work best with others who are great at communicating their needs to me. I am reserved at first, but love to talk once I feel more comfortable. I am very detail-oriented and mindful of my surroundings and, most importantly, others' feelings. I am also very active. I have worked as a pet sitter since I have been back home from college. I spent my last semester of college virtually, so I picked up part-time work with one of our local pet sitting companies. I graduated from Fort Lewis College with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Exercise Science.
I have 3 years of experience working as a writing tutor for my college. And, currently I work as a reading specialist through Americorps at a charter elementary school in Austin, TX.
My goal is to build good relationships with your children and give them my attention whether that is through playing, listening, and/or helping them with homework. I was raised with attention and love from both my father and mother, who stayed at home, because their schedules allowed them to be present in my life. I would like to assist you in any way I can to give your child the care that I was lucky enough to have growing up.
