Hi, I'm Sydney! I love kids, do well with pets, and love to bake. Recently I went on a trip to the UK and Europe, immediately I knew I had to live there at some point in my life.

I have been babysitting kids of all ages for 4 years. I recently nannied for a 2-month-old and loved it! I am adult and infant First Aid/CPR/AED certified through Red Cross as well! I want to fully immerse myself in a new culture and personally I just don’t think you can do that without living in it for an extended period of time. I would like to stay closer to 2 years but definitely at least 1 full year.


I’ve always loved anything creative. I grew up doing lots of sports but my favorites were always the performing arts. I love dancing, singing, and musical theatre! Home projects like knitting, baking, and board games/puzzles always caught my interest as well. Whether your household is fast paced and activity focused or more of a calmer environment, I’ll happily match your pace! During my time as an Au Pair I would really like to become fluent in French. My goal after being an Au Pair is to attend a French university! Going to university in Paris is a dream of mine but unfortunately most schools do not offer undergraduate courses in English. I have taken French courses in the past and I attended a foreign exchange program for a month of immersion classes. I learned so much more in one month of immersion learning than a full year of classes! I also fell in love with the small amount of french culture that I did get to experience, so I am very excited for the chance to go back!
