I am 35 years old. I am currently in school for Child Development. I have a genuine and absolute love for children. I have been a nanny/sitter for 17 years and plan to continue on this track. I have experience working with kids of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I also have experience with twins/multiples as well as children with special needs. I have experience as a preschool teacher as well as an assistant preschool teacher. I have my CPR and First Aid certification. I am also certified as a Newborn Care Specialist.
I strongly believe in open communication in order to avoid any problems and keep things going smoothly. If there is ever any kind of problem, I will feel comfortable to discuss it right away and I would love for the family to do the same.
I have a very loving and nurturing character. Working with children is one thing that I absolutely love about my life. It is not only about the money, my love comes from the heart & it's real. My main focus is your child. I do housekeeping, prepare meals, do laundry and anything related to taking care of your child.
I enjoy being active and imaginative with kids. I love every thing from arts&crafts to dress up to museum trips and playing make believe. I engage with by taking them to the playground, the zoo, Botanical Garden, the carousel, creating an art project, or reading a colorful book. I understand that each child is different and it is all about finding what works on an individual basis. I love being a part of helping children learn and grow. Interacting with kids in all activities is what I do best. Whether it's work time or play time, I am there and ready to be a part of it. I am fun-loving, reliable, enthusiastic, and compassionate. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, cooking, and reading.
I'm available to work on the weekends, on-call, holidays, vacations, overnight, and date nights. I am also available on short notice and overtime.
I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I am good with animals so I wouldn't mind being around any cute pets you may have.
