My name is Ruth and I am so excited to introduce myself to you. I am a certified enrolled nurse with a diploma in a public health, and I have spent the last few years caring for children in different settings. I have worked in nurseries and primary schools, and I am currently working as a school nurse in a secondary school here in Kampala what I love most about my work is helping children feel safe, healthy and happy.
Because of my nursing background,I am very comfortable with daily health routines, hygiene, first aid and making sure children eat well and stay active. My public health training also helps me teach good habits in a fun and gentle way.
In the classroom and in my nursing role I have learned to be patient organized and a good communicator with both parents and children. I enjoy planning simple activities, helping with homework, cooking healthy meals and being part of a family’s daily routine. I believe in positive guidance, clear communication and lots of love and consistency. I am looking for an opportunity abroad because I want to grow, learn a new culture and dedicate myself to one family. I am respectful, hard-working, and I take my responsibility seriously. I would be honored to support your children, help around the home and become someone your family can trust.
