My name is Agape, I’m 24 years old and I’m from Tanzania. I’m a caring, patient, responsible, respectful, and easygoing person, and I genuinely enjoy being around children. I’m excited about the possibility of becoming an au pair because I would love to experience family life in another country while also being someone your children can feel comfortable, safe, and happy around.

My childcare experience comes mainly from caring for my sisters’ children. I have helped with their everyday routines, including preparing simple meals, feeding them, keeping them entertained, helping them stay clean and organized, playing with them, and making sure they are safe. I have also spent time helping them with their activities and keeping them company when their parents were busy.

Taking care of children has taught me that patience is one of the most important qualities when working with kids. Children have different personalities, moods, interests, and ways of communicating, so I try to understand them rather than simply telling them what to do. I enjoy playing with children, talking to them, encouraging them to learn, and creating a positive environment where they can express themselves.
