My name is Aicha and I am from Barcelona. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in General Health Psychology, which includes in-person internships from April to July 2027. For this reason, I am available to start my au pair stay from August 2027.
I have several years of paid experience working with children:
as a childcare assistant and youth worker in a municipal program,
as a babysitter,
as a school monitor,
and as a private tutor for children aged 3 to 18.
Thanks to my academic background in psychology, I am especially attentive to children’s emotional needs, routines, development and communication. I love creating activities that help them grow: reading together, crafts, imaginative play, outdoor exploration, music, and supporting homework or language practice. I am patient, warm, energetic and very engaged when I am with children — I enjoy being fully present with them.
I speak Spanish (native), English (B1/B2) and French (B1/B2), and I am currently improving my French to reach a higher level before arriving in Switzerland. I am used to multicultural environments and feel very comfortable adapting to different family styles.
I am familiar with safety routines for babies and young children. I also enjoy cooking simple and healthy meals, keeping spaces tidy after activities, and helping with daily routines in a natural and organized way.
As for personal details:
I do not smoke, I do not drink, and I do not have visible tattoos or piercings. I enjoy fitness, dance, reading, nature, and spending time with children in creative and active ways.
What makes me special as an au pair is the combination of professional training, real childcare experience, and a very affectionate, positive and dynamic personality. I connect quickly with children, I am calm when needed, and I bring joy, structure and emotional support to their daily life.
