Dear family,

Hi! I’m Paula, I’m 23 years old, and in September 2025 I decided to embark on an adventure I had always dreamed of: becoming an au pair in my favourite city. I have been an au pair ever since, and I am now looking for my second host family because I have completely fallen in love with being an au pair.

I absolutely love being around children. It makes me genuinely happy to spend time with them, play together, watch them grow and be part of their everyday lives. I would describe myself as very chatty, charismatic, patient, responsible and, most importantly, someone who really enjoys creating a fun and happy environment for children.

I really value good communication and I would love to find a family where I can feel like part of the team and the family, while also having my own independence. For me, being an au pair is about working together with the parents and becoming a real team when it comes to the children.

I have previous experience as a nanny with children from 0 to 7 years old, as well as my experience as an au pair with children aged 7, 11 and 14. I have been looking after children since my teenage years, and with every child I have cared for, I have built a very special bond. I still keep in touch with all of them and always try to see or speak to them whenever I can. One of the things I love most about this job is knowing that, hopefully, I can become a little part of their childhood that they will remember, just as they have become such a special part of mine.
I love coming up with fun and creative plans with children: organising playdates and little adventures, baking, drawing, doing crafts, playing board games, and even showing them films and TV shows I loved when I was their age and sharing a little piece of my own childhood with them.

I am currently looking for a family to join in September and am eager to find the right match as soon as possible. If you are looking for someone fun, caring, charismatic and responsible who will genuinely enjoy taking care of your children, I would love to hear from you! I also have references from the families I have worked with and would be very happy to share them.
