I've always been a firm believer that your background does not determine your destination.
My name is Karabo Thoffie, I am a 26 years old South African currently studying Bachelor of Arts majoring in English literature and languages. I am passionate about children this is why I want to become a teacher. This opportunity would be life changing for me as I have the wish to travel overseas and it would build me to being more independent. Not only would it be life changing, it would help with raising my own children some day and polishing the skills of becoming a teacher. I would love to learn about other cultures and I know this is the chance for me to do so. I enjoy caring for children as they are the future, so how one builds them from a young age will determine the kind of future they have. I enjoy being around family, going to church with them, going to parks for picnics, taking morning walks and just being in an adventure because this strengthens our bond as a family. I have learned to be patient, resilient, courageous and a teacher. I have learnt that children are the biggest imitators therefore the good things I do they will imitate.
