I have more than 2,000 hours of childcare experience, mainly caring for children in my family and for other families. I have experience caring for children of different ages, including babies and young children. My responsibilities have included preparing meals, helping with homework, reading stories, playing with the children, taking them for walks, helping with bedtime routines, and making sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy.
I really enjoy spending time with children because I love seeing them learn, grow, and discover new things. I believe children need patience, attention, encouragement, and a caring environment. I also understand that every child has a different personality and needs, so I am willing to learn your family's routines and follow your parenting preferences.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and taking walks. I also enjoy learning about different cultures and meeting new people. One of my main reasons for becoming an au pair is to improve my English, experience American culture, and share my own Mozambican culture with my host family.
