Dear host family

My name is Miora, and I am a 20-year-old woman from Madagascar. I am a creative, open-minded, responsible, and cheerful person who loves discovering new things and embracing new experiences. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and believe that kindness, communication, and respect are the foundation of a great relationship.

I have always loved spending time with children. I completed a four-month internship at a daycare center, where I cared for children and helped organize educational and fun activities. I also have babysitting experience and regularly take care of my two nephews. Overall, I have experience with children from newborns to 12 years old. I love seeing children smile, grow, and learn. Whether it is reading stories, playing games, doing arts and crafts, helping with homework, or simply spending quality time together, I always do my best to create a safe, caring, and happy environment.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books, watching movies, crocheting, and cooking. I prepare meals for my family every day and enjoy trying new recipes. I also love learning new languages because I believe they open the door to new cultures and meaningful connections. I have a C1 level in English certified by the ITEP au pair exam, I speak French almost fluently, I have an A2 level in Spanish, and I am currently learning German. I completed two years of English studies at university and plan to take a gap year before returning to finish my degree.

I have held a driver's license since October 2025, I know how to ride a bicycle, and I can swim.

I would love to become an au pair because I believe living with a host family is the best way to truly experience a new culture, improve my language skills, and grow as a person. I hope this experience will help me become more independent, develop new skills, and create unforgettable memories. I would also be delighted to share my Malagasy culture, traditions, and perhaps even cook some traditional dishes for your family.
