Introduction
My name is Daisy, and I am a caring, responsible, patient, and hardworking young woman from Kenya. I am very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and experience life with a host family while learning about a new culture and improving my language skills.
I have training and practical experience in caregiving, including supporting elderly people and children with different needs. During my caregiving experience, I had the opportunity to work with children with disabilities, including children with autism and Down syndrome. These experiences taught me to be patient, understanding, attentive, and adaptable to each person's individual needs.
I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I would be happy to help with age-appropriate activities such as playing, reading, drawing, going for walks, helping with homework, preparing simple meals, and keeping their play areas organized. I understand that every child has a different personality and routine, and I am willing to learn what works best for each child.
I would describe myself as friendly, respectful, trustworthy, and easy to get along with. I am also comfortable helping with light household tasks related to the children. I believe good communication between an au pair and a host family is very important, and I would always communicate openly and respectfully.
I am also interested in learning about your family's culture, traditions, food, and everyday life. I would love to share my Kenyan culture with you as well. I hope to become more than just an au pair—I would like to become a positive and caring member of the family while respecting your rules, privacy, and way of life.
I am looking forward to meeting a welcoming family with whom I can build a trusting relationship and create wonderful memories together. I would be very happy to learn more about your family, your children, and what you are looking for in an au pair.
Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. I hope to hear from you soon!
Warm regards,
Daisy
